I like sitting at the backseat of a bus for one reason.
I was in a minibus going to Circle Mall to go sell a laptop and when I got to the street I took pictures on, which I shared in the blog yesterday, I remembered I had not taken any pictures and decided to take a quick one to share with you.
Just enjoying my favorite seat in the bus, backseat girl.
I'll be doing more tours of the city every time. Apologies for not bringing you the Rasta Park tour but at least we're seeing further on the road.
This blog I posted yesterday, I shared a street view of the road from Racecourse where I live all the way to Lapaz.
An Evening on the Streets leading to Accra Lapaz
After the Derby Royal Hotel, you'll get to Goil Filling Station which is the pavement you see the little truck on.
The bus was moving so fast I am even impressed I could get a clear shot like this. I was thinking of making a video with my phone but you always have to be safe and remember, anyone can steal the phone if you're at the window seat and you stretch your hand out. So I was being extra careful.
There's not much I could take because as I said, it was too late when I remembered it.
An Acer but too old to sell now
This is the laptop I was trying to sell at Circle Mall but sadly I couldn't get a buyer because it was too old a model. I had guessed before going that this might be the outcome because if a buyer buys this, it might be difficult to sell it. So I guess I'm stuck with it. I'll just use it rather than thinking of selling it.
That's a salon and spa but it's uncompleted, although they're still in business. I haven't gone to this place before to be honest.
Why The Backseat
But I actually like the back seat of the bus, although if there's a car behind crashing into the bus, I might be the first to get hit, I feel like the front has a higher chance of getting hit. I don't know if that logic is even wise but I like the back window seat mainly because when people are trying to get down at a junction, if you're in their way sometimes you would have to get down so they can get down and then you get back into the car, then it moves.
But at the back seat window side to the left where the car's passenger entrance isn't, you're just going to sit down till you get to your destination.
So when I take the bus from Lapaz all the way to Racecourse, I look for an empty one or one where no one has filled the back seat. If I don't get that I make do with whatever I get.
But anyways mostly if I'll go out, it's an Uber but with where I was headed, I needed the bus to stop at multiple junctions.
Don't worry guys, I had a lot on my plate that's why I forgot the promised blog I wanted to make but tonight I'm going straight to the Rasta Park. I hope the food vendors will be there. Don't expect anything fancy, it's a big land for the community to come over for events and when there's nothing going on people just walk there and some pray there, some hold small meetings and the youth use that place a lot for soccer practice.
