This is the funniest story I could think of writing and there's a valuable lesson I'll share at the end.

There was once a man. He created beautiful, clear glass items of many different shapes. Many people in his town appreciated his talent.

One day, a man who traveled came into the glassmaker's shop to admire his glasswork. When he entered the store, he looked around at the many glass items. He picked up a glass and, having examined it, told the glassmaker, "These glasses are perfect. You must be the best glassmaker in the world. They must be as strong as steel. They will not break.

The glassmaker was very proud. He thought he would demonstrate to the traveler that he was correct. He picked up one glass and as hard as he could, hit the glass against the counter.

He shattered the glass into hundreds of tiny pieces, and he looked like Elon musk after a Tesla Cybertruck test fails before thousands, the investors and the world.

The traveler smiled and chose another glass to take with him.

The glassmaker learned a valuable lesson that day, a fine line between pride and showing off and pride can be your worst enemy.
