The Diary Game: Lost At First But The Celebration Was Worth It(10:05:2026)

Yesterday, all road led to The Apostolic Church for my course mates child dedication, I didn't know the exact location of the church and my friends had already gone so I was left to go alone. Reason why I was left behind was because I attended my church first and to atleast minister in the choir before I took permission and left. I stopped by the wrong church at first and I was informed that I was in the wrong venue so I left and asked for a more better description and when it dropped, I finally located the church at last.

When I arrived the church, the dedication service was almost over as the parents of the child were giving testimony. Immediately after their testimony, the choir led in praises as we went round to drop our offering. The praises were hot that I couldn't resist the urge to dance, I danced so hard that I was sweating profusely and immediately that session was over, I stepped outside to a nearby shop to buy sachet water for drinking, I bought for one hundred naira and took the remaining to my colleagues and asked if they cared for it.

Other activities followed after the offering before we came to the end of the service. An announcement was made for the church officials like ministers and others to wait in church for refreshment while others should head to the reception venue which was my course mate's compound. I made my way into the bus my colleagues came with and we were driven down to the reception venue, our table was already set and we were ushered to it by my course mate's sister. Drinks were first brought, followed by food.

We started with the drink before someone was appointed to serve the food. We were eating when two guys left the table and in some minutes, they returned with more drinks and we were informed the drinks were for another child dedication invite. I finished my rice and collected soup with fufu and still ate before I allowed any alcoholic drink to enter my mouth. We were called to the dance floor and I did my best before I returned home, I got home with a crazy headache that I just had to take my bath and sleep. Thanks Pookies, byyyyeeee.
