The diary game. 09-02-2026.An Early Start at the Office Amidst Heavy Responsibilities and a Somber Visit of Condolence
Today was a day when I had to go to the office very early, just after finishing my breakfast. As usual, I started my day by offering the morning prayers and prostrating in reverence before the Almighty. After that, I completed some applications and headed back home. I had my breakfast a little quicker than usual because I had to reach the office early, as we are now at the fag end of our special duty in the district and might be relieved in just a few days. For that reason, the targets these days are quite strict and time-consuming.
As soon as I reached the office, I straightaway got into my work and was fully committed to finishing my target for the day. However, because we had lost a relative the day before in a tragic bike accident, where he was hit by a speeding bike and killed on the spot, I had to return home a little early to go with my mother to pay condolences to the family. I managed to complete my task by the later afternoon and then headed back home. Soon after, it was time to go to our relative’s house, which is just about 1½ km from our place.
It was a very tragic death, as he had only gone for a doctor’s visit. After completing the medical examination, he came out and while waiting on the roadside, he was hit by a speeding bike and killed on the spot. It was a shock for the whole area, as the person who died was a teacher who had taught my father as well and was a well-known personality in our locality, so paying condolences was a must. Moreover, his son had been my teacher for a long time, and now we are also working in the same government department in Kashmir.
I stayed there for some time and then came out to wait for my mother, who was in the women’s section. I waited for her in my car and met a few people I had known since my childhood, which again gave me an opportunity to meet them and have long conversations until my mother returned. Then it was time to head back home.
on way towards the deceased’s home
As the World Cup is going on in India, I watched the live match and also the highlights of earlier matches played during the day. Later in the evening, I bought some items that were required at home, and while staying at home watching TV, I also made some caricatures of myself, as it is a trend these days and many people are sharing such pictures on social media. After having dinner, I went through my books for some time and then went to sleep around 12 AM at night.
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.

Hello, @Jahangeerkhanday. Goodbyes are usually a little difficult, not to say sad, especially when it comes to physically saying goodbye to a loved one or someone we hold in high regard and respect for the legacy of their experience, whether religious, spiritual, professional, or as a friend or family member who has left a profound mark on our lives with their knowledge. So, unexpectedly, the wise teacher leaves to continue his evolutionary journey of consciousness on planes higher than the one we are living on this planet.
It is worrying that the accident was caused by a motorcycle driven by a reckless driver, because there seems to be a kind of pandemic of unconsciousness among people behind the wheel of a motorcycle. In my country, and particularly in the province where I live, Monagas, the number of accidents caused by motorcycles is alarming, not to mention that it is a case that requires exceptional attention and assistance from the State, because every day and every week many drivers do not make it to the hospital alive, and those who do, die within a few days or end up crippled. In the best of cases, they spend 8 months to a year on crutches before they can walk again.
If alcohol and other dopamine-related substances are the cause of many deaths and family tragedies, reckless motorists could be surpassing that statistical line to become one of the leading causes of death in society.
I deeply regret the loss of your loved one. May God's peace be with you forever.
