The diary game. A Calm Work-from-Home Day Filled with Sunshine and Simple Tasks
Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.
As I have been told to work from home for a few days till the verification of the digitisation work is completed and approved by the higher-ups, I feel a bit relieved. Early in the morning, I was in no hurry to finish my chores quickly and leave for the office. Instead, I did everything comfortably and with proper care. I got up very early in the morning and after performing ablution, I offered the morning prayers at home because I couldn’t go to the mosque as I was already late, and going there would have been in vain since the official time for the congregational prayer had passed. After performing ablution, I could feel the cold, so before offering the prayer, I sat beside the electric blower to get some warmth and then offered my morning prayers. After finishing the prayer, I again went to sleep to get warm in my bed.
Around breakfast time, I woke up again and had my breakfast, after which I sat down to do my work. I was called by my colleagues, who gave me information about what to do and how to start. While working from home, I usually get some time to go out, refresh myself, and then resume work. While I was doing my work, the bright sunshine outside tempted me to go out and enjoy it for a while. I went to a nearby shop, where the helper was cleaning. The owner wasn’t there as he had gone to one of his relative’s houses, where someone had lost his life in a tragic road accident the previous day. I had actually gone there to offer my condolences, but upon enquiring, I was told that he was not present. I then returned home and resumed my official work.
Sometime later, I had to go to a nearby bank to deposit some money that I had received in cash from a neighbour who had owed it to me for the last one year. On my way to the bank, I stopped for some time at one of my friend’s shops, as it was around 2 PM and the bank closes at around 5 PM. I had plenty of time to complete my work, so I spent some time with my friend who owns a shop in the main market. After finishing my work at the bank, I returned home with some packets of corn used for making popcorn. As soon as I reached home, I went straight to the kitchen, made some popcorn, enjoyed them, and then again resumed my official work.
Later in the day, I did some reading, and in the evening I again went to the main market of the village to buy some groceries and other items like milk. Upon returning, it was around 9:30 PM. I had my dinner and, after spending some time on social media and interacting with friends there, I went to sleep at around 11:45 PM.
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
