The diary game. A Day of Sudden Office Calls, Last Cricket Matches, and the First Whispers of Winter
Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.
Getting up very early in the morning, I didn’t know that I would have to move towards my office today because just a couple of days earlier I had been asked to work from home, and for that reason I was quite relaxed. I was ready to start my work right from the comfort of my room after offering the morning prayers. Soon after finishing my breakfast, which was prepared by my mother despite the very cold atmosphere here in the valley of Kashmir, I moved to my room to switch on the system and commence my work. Meanwhile, I received a call from the office informing me that I needed to be there shortly as an important meeting was going to be held.
I responded immediately, got ready quickly, and headed towards my office through a shortcut route. Fortunately, I reached in time before the meeting started. After some time, the meeting began, and it was actually a progress analysis of the digitisation work that is going on in every part of the valley. These days, one of the largest districts in the valley is the main point of focus, as it would boost the overall performance and percentage of digitisation work completed on time. This has been kept in mind for the past month, and we have been working very expeditiously.
After the meeting, it was time to get the certificates signed from the authorities and also the additional certificates that were to be produced before my original office where I actually belong. After some time, I headed back towards my place. While I was on my way, I saw one of my colleagues waiting for a cab, so I gave him a lift and dropped him at his place. I again took the shortcut route and reached home in time.
It was time to have a late lunch, and only after that did I take some rest. Later, I headed towards the outskirts to play some cricket. This time, the game was quite intense because the boys knew it was the last day of playing. They wanted to play to their fullest, knowing that snowfall was expected in just a few days, as the meteorological department had predicted snow due to western disturbances that were going to affect the region from the evening itself. We played a lot and had enough fun. A few characters who play cricket there, more like comedians than actual players, made the time quite entertaining and funny.
Late in the day, I returned home, and then it was time for some shopping. While I was in the market, the wind started blowing, which was actually the first sign of the western disturbances. It brought a smile to people’s faces because we were anticipating precipitation after a long time. We are people living in a rural area with no irrigation facilities and are completely dependent on agriculture and horticulture. Natural precipitation is more like a blessing for us.
The wind started blowing very intensely, and strong gusts lifted dust from the roads, making the atmosphere quite dusty. It was now time to head back home, as staying outside could have been fatal. Due to the intense winds, the lights went off, as the transmission lines might have been affected somewhere. A strong feeling of snowy winter had arrived. After having dinner, I quickly went to bed, sleeping with the hope of seeing snow early the next morning.
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.

A great post. I really enjoyed my reading. I don't like winter season because it makes me really sick.
