The diary game. “A Day Rooted in Rituals, Responsibilities, and Celebrations”
Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.
As I’m an early bird, I got up early in the morning and, without any hesitation, got out of my bed and straightaway performed ablution to prepare myself for the prayer, then went to pray along with the community in the nearby mosque. It took me about an hour to finish all my religious rites, and only after making supplications did I head back to my place. Upon reaching home, I didn’t waste any time but straightaway got into some gardening work, making sure that the aesthetics I have been maintaining over a period of time remained intact, enhanced, and were not faded by any natural or man-made factors. I watered the lawn and placed different plants at their appropriate places, as some plants need to be kept in shade while others in open sun. After dampening the lawn, I looked for weeds that could have grown there and might otherwise harm it.
After gardening, I went on a walk towards the orchard located in my village. It was not just a walk, but also an opportunity to have a cursory view of the apples we are growing and putting a lot of hard work into over a period of six or seven months, maintaining the quality of the crop while also checking if any pesticide was required to be sprayed on the fruits. Only after being satisfied with the quality and overall condition did I return home. Upon reaching, I got into the dining room only after getting fresh and joined my parents, who were already waiting for me, and had a meal with them.
Today, I was a little quick to leave for the office, as I have been posted at the district headquarters, and there we need to be punctual, as all the higher officials stay there and monitor the presence of staff at all times. Today, a drizzle had started right from the morning, and the temperature was already below normal, which made it feel even colder. I resumed my work of digitising the land records that we have been deputed for. Upon reaching the office, I continued the same task until closing time. Meanwhile, I had my lunch and a cup of tea later in the day.
Upon leaving the office, I got stuck in a traffic jam and felt quite restive because I had to reach my friend’s home, as his sister was getting married, and we had a lot of things to arrange for the groom and his convenience, who had to arrive later that night for the formal marriage ceremony as per Islamic law. It was very late at night when the groom arrived, and we straightaway got on our toes to make things happen efficiently. Only after we bid adieu to the bride did I return home and, without wasting any more time, straightaway went to sleep to get myself refreshed.
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
