The diary game. A Friday of Faith, Work, and Quiet Reflections
Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.
Today was Friday, and for that reason, being one of the holiest days of the week, rising early was quite an obligation. Only after I was done with making ablution did I go to prostrate in reverence and submit myself before the Almighty, completely paying gratitude and establishing a strong connection with the Divine. Upon returning home, I went to the kitchen to help my mother with some early morning household chores as she wasn’t feeling well today. I didn’t go back to bed again, and as the temperature is improving every day now, the lifestyle would also change.
After some time, I had my breakfast together with my parents, who were already there waiting. It was actually time to leave for the office, as today I needed to go there and do my official work instead of working from home, as I had been doing for the past few days. Today I was asked to stay at the office and work from there. I wasn’t bothered much, as I have a habit of going to the office daily, and only because of the work-from-home option I hadn’t gone for the past few days, which could have made me a bit lethargic. So, I was happy to reach back to the office and start my work there.
As it was Friday, I had to offer congregational prayers, and for that reason, I left early so that I could reach in time to offer the namaz. I was there on time. After offering the congregational prayers in the ground of the village, I headed back home. I had my lunch, and after that, I removed some snow from the path we usually walk on. As the daytime temperature has increased, the snow will now melt very fast and may not remain in the coming few days.
After removing the snow from the path, I got some time to read Indian polity, which fascinates me a lot because it helps me understand how such a huge country is run by a system. Being a part of that system, I understood how different works are carried out and how planning and developmental works are executed at the ground level. As an employee of the Rural Development Department, it helps me understand things quite easily.
Later, I went outside to the kitchen garden and breathed in some fresh air because continuously reading can sometimes become boring, and to feel refreshed and regain energy, walking is quite important. While walking around my house, I was amazed by the fast rate at which the snow was melting. The lawn had already lost snow from one corner, and if the same temperature continues for a few more days, the snow will melt completely, which would not be a good thing for the farming sector.
After that, it was time to bring some milk from my uncle’s home. I took a container with me, and upon reaching there, I sat with my cousin sister’s kids for some time. I enjoy spending time with them as it gives me a chance to ask them questions related to their subjects. It was a good time with them, and then I headed back home with the milk.
After having my dinner, I went to my room. It was time to sleep, and before going to bed, I went through social media for a while to know what was happening around the world.
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
