The Diary game. Better life with steem. A Peaceful Day Amid Duties and Commitments. 11 May.

It is a part of my routine and habit to wake up very early in the morning, and today as well, it was the chirping of birds on the balcony that helped me get out of bed quickly. Soon, I performed my prayers, and only after making supplications did I return back home. After that, I did some physical exercises in the backyard, broke some sweat, burned a few calories, and helped myself stay fit, calm, composed, and energetic throughout the day.

Soon after I was done, I headed towards the kitchen where I helped my mother with some household chores, and only then did I have my breakfast. As soon as I finished breakfast, I recalled the plan we had made yesterday. We had planned to leave for a distant place to pay condolences at the home of one of my grandfather’s friends, who had passed away recently. Regarding this, I had already contacted my office early in the morning and informed them that I would not be able to attend office today, and I was granted leave as well.

However, after some time, my father changed the plan and rescheduled the visit for Friday, when we would leave for that place. Once I realised there was nothing much to do at home, I decided to leave for my office. This time, I was in a hurry because I had already become a little late. I took a shortcut route, and it took me only around 20 to 25 minutes to reach there. As soon as I reached the office, I got straight into my work and helped others who had already been waiting there.

I continued my work in the office till afternoon, and meanwhile, I had lunch and tea a couple of times. These days, I have been assigned the task of verifying the work being done by subordinates regarding the digitisation of revenue records. For that reason, I need to stay with them, help them with different issues they face while working on the portal, and also verify whatever they upload. Therefore, my presence there remains quite important.

Later in the day, while returning back home, I opted for a completely different route this time. It allowed me to witness a new area with serene surroundings and very little traffic, which made the journey quite pleasant. Anyways, after reaching home, I freshened up and then got involved in maintaining the lawn by operating the grass mower and cutting the lengthy grass, which had started looking a little awkward.

Soon after that, it was time to visit one of our orchards located nearby to inspect whether there was any need for spraying pesticides or fungicides, as the weather had become somewhat favourable for pest attacks after a couple of light rains and a slight drop in temperature. After carefully checking all the trees, I felt satisfied that there was no immediate need for spraying anything, and then I returned back home.

After returning home, it was time to spend some moments with a newly arrived guest, who was actually my brother’s friend. Later in the evening, I again got involved in helping my mother with some kitchen chores, and only after having dinner at around 10 PM did I finally go to sleep.
