The Diary game. Better life with steem. Finding Peace in Work and Nature. 20 may 2026
It was all because of the chirping of birds outside the balcony of my room that I woke up early in the morning. Soon after getting up, I performed ablution, offered the morning prayers, and started my day by bowing down in prostration before Almighty Allah. After finishing the prayers, I made some applications and then headed back towards my room, where I got into some physical workout so that I could break some sweat, help myself stay fit and agile, and burn some calories.
Only after I was done with these things did I go inside, get fresh, and help my mother with the morning chores. Later, I had my breakfast quickly so that I could leave for my office and reach there in time. Before leaving for the office, I stayed with my mother for some time out in the lawn, where she was busy cutting coriander leaves so that they could be dried for later use. As we have long winters here, growing vegetables during that season becomes almost impossible, and therefore we often rely on dried vegetables during those months.
After spending some time there with my mother, I left for my office. Upon reaching there, I got into my work, logged into the portal, and continued with my tasks throughout the day. Meanwhile, during working hours, I had the lunch that I had carried with me.
In the afternoon, I returned back home, and this time I had to fix a spray pump motor that we use for spraying pesticides in our orchard. It had undergone some damage a few days ago, and I needed to repair it before using it again in the orchard. Unfortunately, despite trying, I could not fix it because the required spare parts were not available, and the parts that I had did not fit properly in the spray pump.
Soon after that, my mother called me and told me that we were heading towards one of our orchards. We had some work to do there, such as adding fertilizers to the trees and checking the apples, as this is a very crucial stage for the crop. During the growing stage, apples require constant monitoring because if diseases or pests attack unnoticed, the crop may not remain fit for export or commercial use. For that reason, we need to stay vigilant and keep a close eye on the apple trees so that we can grow a good-quality crop and earn good returns later in the year.
This time, we had to visit one of our farthest orchards, located nearly 10 kilometers away from our home. I refueled my car, and then we left for the orchard. Upon reaching there, we immediately got into our work. We had also carried some food items with us because visiting the orchard feels more like spending quality time amidst nature. We stay there for some time, enjoy the serenity and peaceful atmosphere, and at the same time complete our work. It was my parents and I who had gone to the orchard, and it is often there that we discuss our plans regarding the orchard and decide our future strategies related to farming and crop management.
Later, at around 6 PM, we returned back home. It was then time for me to go to my room and do some reading, as I am very fond of reading and hardly waste my time doing futile things. Rather, I prefer spending my time reading books that help me understand different dimensions of life.
After finishing my reading, it was already evening, and I had to go to the gym. I spent nearly one and a half hours there, helping myself stay fit and agile while breaking some sweat. Later, I returned back home, but before reaching my place, I spent some time at one of my friend’s shops, where we sat together and had a brief chat.
Finally, at around 9:30 PM, I returned home. Upon reaching there, I got fresh and then had dinner alongside my parents and siblings. Later, I went to sleep and called it a day.
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
