The diary game. Between the Changing Seasons and Changing Responsibilities: A Friday of Prayers, Household Duties, and Simple Evening Joys.

Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.

As I have been enjoying some time because the special duty I was on for the last six months is now coming to an end, I have been informed that I will be relieved in just a few days. The work assigned to us there has been completed, and now we are being relieved to join our parent department again. For that reason, I woke up quite early in the morning. There was no hurry to do my morning chores, and I completed them quite comfortably.

I started my day by offering the early morning prayers, and after finishing my prayers and bowing in reverence before the Almighty, I set off towards my home again. These days, the mornings are not as cold as they were during the peak winter season. There is now a strong vibe of spring in the air, ushering in a slight increase in temperature and bringing relief to life.

As it was Friday, I needed to offer the congregational prayers at the grand mosque of the village. For that reason, I finished my morning and household chores on time because the congregational prayers are important and must be offered at the stipulated time. After having lunch at around 12:30 PM, I headed towards the mosque to offer the Friday congregational prayers. Praying in the community with a large number of people is something I truly cherish. Standing side by side with others not only strengthens our faith but also fosters love, affection, and consideration for one another.

After completing the prayers, I went to my friend’s shop in the market. I stayed there for some time until my friend returned to the shop. Later, I left for the distribution centre to collect the food supply, as the distributor comes only on selected days. I waited there for some time until my turn came.

Later in the evening, I returned home because I needed to help my mother, cousin, and sister-in-law with cleaning the house. They were shifting things from one place to another, and I assisted them in moving heavy objects. While helping with the cleaning, I also tried to spread out the concentrated snow from the roof of our house. It had frozen due to the subzero night temperatures, so I spread it over a larger area to increase its exposure to sunlight, which helped it melt more quickly.

After finishing the work, I headed to the village market again to meet my friends and spend some time with them. Later, I returned home to watch the T20 World Cup on TV. The matches have been quite interesting and exciting. Before every match, we anticipate high drama, but not every game turns out the same.

At around 9:30 PM, I had my dinner. After dinner, I went to my room to sleep, but before that, I spent some time on social media to see what was happening around and interacted with friends who are in different places, keeping in touch with them.
