The diary game. First Day of the Year: Work from Home and Warm Moments
Hello, dear friends!
Happy New Year to everyone of you. How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.
I got up very early in the morning, as I have a habit of rising early without any hesitation. I got out of my bed and straightaway went to purify myself for praying. I started my day with gratitude to the Almighty and by establishing a divine connection with Him, which not only brings peace and positivity but also helps me stay committed throughout the day.
Upon returning from the mosque, and after making supplications, I went back to bed because the temperature outside was quite low. There was cloud cover accumulating in the sky along with cold winds, so I couldn’t stay outside and waited in my bed until breakfast.
After getting up for breakfast, and only after having it, I checked my mother’s blood pressure. She has been monitoring it closely for the past few days because she has not been feeling well, and just a few days ago her BP had shot up to 180/110. After that, my day properly started as I began my work. Since I have been working from home for the past few days, I logged into my device and started working from the comfort of my home.
About two hours later, my sister-in-law asked me to carry her newly bought utensils to the blacksmith’s shop, where they had to be galvanised before we could use them for cooking. I did so, returned home, and resumed my work. Later in the day, I helped my mother with cutting vegetables, as today was the first day of the year and the vegetables we had bought were quite special. We had bought lotus stem along with some chicken and leafy vegetables, which were to be cooked together.
Later in the evening, I went to see my friend who runs a shop in the main market of the village. I stayed there for some time, as I also had to buy a few items from the market. It also gave me an opportunity to spend some time with my friends, as our meetups have become quite rare now that we are all engaged in our jobs and hardly get time to meet. Still, we try to spend some time together whenever possible.
After that, I returned home and resumed my work until dinner. After having dinner, I spent some time on social media, scrolling through reels and interacting with my virtual friends. Once I was done, I went to sleep and called it a day.
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
