The diary game. Left some utensils for tinning and made a favourite recipe for dinner.
Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.
Today, I had a couple of assignments at hand, and for that reason, I had to wake up very early to maximise my daytime and finish all my work on time. I got up without hesitation, without caring about the warmth of my bed. I straightaway went to perform ablution and then offered the morning prayers. Praying is quite important, and as per Islamic principles, the early morning prayer is obligatory and is best performed in congregation. Offering prayers with other members of society carries its own blessings. It not only helps us embrace peace and positivity but also establishes a strong connection with the Divine.
After completing the prayers, I completed some paperwork and then headed back home. As usual, I tried to stay away from the cold wave that was blowing outside, as staying out for long could lead to health issues. For this reason, I returned home and went back to bed until breakfast was ready. After waking up again, I freshened up, had my breakfast, and then set off to complete my tasks.
One of my tasks was to take copper utensils for tinning, as we have a local coppersmith in our village who still practices traditional methods of working with copper. I spent some time with him, observing his work. It was quite an experience, as I not only learned about the hardships involved in his profession but also closely noticed the intricate process he follows. I could personally feel how difficult the work was, yet it was his means of livelihood, and he did not seem to complain about it.
After that, I left for a nearby village to buy matting and furnishing items. Blankets had already been arranged, but one room was still left without proper furnishing, and for that reason, I visited a matting store and purchased the required items. It was then time to return home, as I had to make arrangements for guests who were expected to arrive on Sunday. I had to visit the market a couple of times to buy different items, and eventually, all the arrangements were completed.
By then, it was already evening, and it was time to cook some favourite dishes for dinner. We prepared a traditional recipe that is quite typical of the valley and an important part of the famous Kashmiri Wazwan cuisine. It required a lot of hard work, but at dinner time, everyone seemed to enjoy it thoroughly. The food was delicious, and everyone had more than enough.
Later, after spending some time on social media and interacting with my friends, I went to sleep a little later than usual.
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
