The diary game. Prayers at Dawn, Office Duties by Day, Family Time by Night

in Hindwhale Communitylast month

Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.

In the next twenty days, most of the winter will come to an end here in the valley. People will get some relief, and in that anticipation, we are still full of hope that we will witness a new phase of life, much freer from the difficulties we are facing these days. Anyway, life is all about hope, and without hope, life is not worth living.

Today again, it was a cold morning when I got up and started my day by offering prayers as usual. After spending some time praying, I went back to bed so that I could stay warm and minimise the risk of any health hazards that might result from exposure to the cold wave early in the morning. I got up again at around 9:30 AM, had my breakfast, and soon after finishing it, I got ready for the office. I had to reach there quickly so that I could start my work early in the day.

Upon reaching the office, I logged in straightaway and started working on the tasks assigned to me. These days, I am verifying data that has already been digitised by some agencies from the revenue records. This data needs to be verified meticulously because it is now going for freezing, and any rectification that needs to be done has to be completed at this stage; it cannot be done later. I continued my work and, meanwhile, had a cup of tea to keep myself warm. I also had my lunch later in the afternoon.

Later, I returned home and was quick to reach back as I took a shortcut route. Upon reaching home, I quickly changed my clothes and then helped my mother with household chores like washing utensils, particularly the copper ones. These need to be placed in the sun so that they dry quickly and do not get rusted due to the presence of water on them. For this reason, I helped my mother carry the utensils outside and then back in.

After finishing the work, I went inside to freshen up and take some rest. Meanwhile, I read a few chapters from an engineering book. Later in the day, my mother sent me to the market to buy some groceries and other items. I returned with a few things, including coconuts and grapes, which are among my favourite fruits.

Then it was time to spend some moments with family, which is always precious, and I stayed with them until dinner time. We had dinner at around 9:30 PM, after which I went to my room. I spent some time on social media, getting to know what was happening around and talking to friends who were once close by but are now connected only virtually due to our busy schedules. At around 12 AM, I finally went to sleep.

Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
