The diary game: Spring Work in the Orchard and a Busy Day

Only because I wasn’t able to sleep well throughout the night, mainly because of the headache that made my life difficult, and while in the last phase of the night, I was able to get some deep sleep very early in the morning. My mom again came up, calling me and asking me to accompany my uncle, who was again going to spray pesticides in an orchard located at the top of the hill in the south direction of the village. I wasn’t happy about it at all, and I still procrastinated and tried to sleep again for some more time, but again, only after 10 to 15 minutes, my mom came again and disturbed me and called me again, and now it was time to get up without taking much time.

I purified myself for the morning prayers and I offered the prayers at my place, and then, without having much for breakfast, I had something light and then I left along with the pesticides. My first task was to reach a place where water was being pumped into the containers that needed to be taken to these orchards. As the orchards are located at the top of the hill, water scarcity is a problem. Anyways, just after filling the containers with water, we headed towards the orchard.

It took us about half an hour to reach the orchard as the road wasn’t in a good state just because the rainfall a few days before had deteriorated it and made it muddy, where the wheels were not able to have a strong grip, but still the driver showed his proficiency and was able to reach the destination in time. Now we started spraying pesticides over there, and as my orchard comes first while going towards that area, I was the first to complete spraying pesticides on my orchard. I then helped my uncle and other people who were also there with us. These containers carried by the tractor are used by a few farmers other than me and my uncles.

Now on finishing, I returned back home, and this time I walked back on foot as it didn’t take me much time to reach back home and I enjoyed walking all the way back home. As it’s my habit, I love to be connected with nature, and for that reason, walking through and over these hills is quite an extraordinary experience for me.

Now upon reaching back home, I was already a little late, but still I prepared and got ready for the office and was quick to leave and took the shortcut route to reach there and straightaway got into my work. These days we don’t have much to do there, but still, some work is to be done by us. I had already completed my work, but we are bound to reach there anyways.

Later, I returned back home, and meanwhile, I got to visit my cousin who lives there in a village on the way when I was on my way back home. Upon reaching my place, I got fresh and then had a cup of tea before I could enter my room to resume my reading. I continued reading history as I am quite interested in reading history and polity.

Upon finishing a few chapters, I was called by my mom for having dinner. Upon finishing my dinner, I returned back to my room again and read a few chapters of Indian polity and only then I was done with my tasks for the day, and I went to sleep.
