The Diary Game: [19/06/2026] Just Another School Day... Or So I Thought
Hello guys! I hope you all are doing great. Today started much earlier than usual. I woke up with the mind of preparing for a test we had in school. I picked up my notes and focused on the parts I had been avoiding for days. You know those sections that seem determined to bore you to sleep? Those were exactly the ones I tackled first. After managing to cover the toughest parts, I left the remaining pages for later when I got to school.
As soon as I arrived on campus, I decided to take a picture. I had no idea how the test would turn out, so I wanted a photo of myself while I was still bright, happy, and full of confidence before anything could potentially go wrong.
Thankfully, all that worrying wasn't necessary. The test turned out to be much simpler than I expected. In fact, I finished with enough time to help a few of my friends with areas they found difficult. After the test, we still had about two hours before our practical session would begin. Since one of my friends lived nearby, we decided to head to his place and cook something to eat. Halfway through planning the meal, he realized he was missing a few ingredients, so we stopped by a nearby supermarket to get the things we needed.
Within a short time of getting to his place, we had a pot of delicious-looking noodles sitting in front of us. To be honest, I rushed my own portion like someone who hadn't eaten in days. The food was so satisfying, and I fed dangerously that I was so close to falling asleep afterward.
We spent some time relaxing and letting the food settle before heading back to school. The journey back was more of running than walking because we were almost late for our practical. Attendance during practical sessions contributes to our CA, and you have to be present from start to finish, so missing it wasn't even an option. Luckily, we made it in just in time and completed the practical successfully, although it ended a little later than expected.
After leaving the lab, I headed to the library. Well, charging my phone was my main reason for going there, but I decided to make good use of the time by studying as well. I covered a decent number of pages before my brain started misbehaving. I just needed something entertaining other than books, so I started asking around for movie recommendations. After several suggestions, a female course mate finally recommended one that sounded promising. Well, she definitely knew what she was talking about. The movie was so good that I completely lost track of time. Since there was electricity everywhere around the school, there was no easy way to tell it was getting late. It wasn't until I checked the time on my phone that reality hit me.
When we eventually stepped outside, we discovered there were no cabs available to take us toward the school gate. Our only option was to trek. Normally, walking around campus that late isn't the safest idea, but there were quite a lot of us heading in the same direction, so it didn't feel too bad. Along the way, my friend and I took a quick selfie and continued our walk.
Surprisingly, the distance felt much shorter than usual because before we knew it, we had already reached the gate. By that point, the stress from the day, combined with the long walk, had started catching up with me. I felt slightly dizzy and exhausted, so I stopped at a pharmacy on my way home to get some pain relief medication.
The moment I got home, I didn't even prioritize greeting anybody. The first thing I asked for was food. After taking a quick shower, I finally settled down to enjoy my dinner. Now there's another movie I want to watch tonight, inspired by the one I enjoyed earlier in school. But before starting that adventure, I thought I'd share a little summary of how my day went. It was a long, productive day, and thankfully, a good day. I hope you all had a wonderful day too.
