The diary game || Better life with steem|| Shopping day
My son's birthday is next week and I needed to buy him clothes and gifts, so I went shopping the day before yesterday. First, I went to Velavan Silks, a clothing store in our town, and then I went to D-MART, the largest department store in our town, to buy things. I am going to write about that in this post. Hope you read and like it.
To buy clothes for my son, I first went to the Velavan Silk cloth shop in our town. There, they separated the accessories section-wise and kept them in each section. For example, women's clothes were kept in one place, men's clothes in another place, baby girl clothes in another place, baby boy accessories in another place, and inner cover in another section. As soon as we went, the shopkeeper there asked what we wanted and said that we wanted to buy clothes for my son. He took us to the children's section.
The clothing store had mannequins placed here and there, beautifully dressed in clothes. The mannequin, which looked like a father and daughter, was very beautiful. I really liked the child wearing the bell. But I didn't have such a small child, so I just enjoyed looking at it and then went to the children's section to buy clothes.
Among the clothes he showed, the cargo pants were very pretty and trendy, but my son didn't like them. All he wanted was a pair of regular jeans, which are trendy now. He doesn't like wearing dresses like this. That was an advantage for me too because we can't control kids who are too stylish and trendy. I have a tendency to be uncontrollable, so I wanted my son to be tall and stylish at the same time.
The shopkeeper showed us various clothes, for example, salwar suits, coat suits, fancy dresses, etc. But my son didn't like all of them. He said he wanted a jean jacket, jeans, and a t-shirt. However, he was shown denim clothes, but he wasn't interested in them either. So, he said, "Okay, we can go to another store." We went to the women's section to buy pants for my husband.
We chose and bought two pairs of pants for my husband. We got only a quarter meter of each fabric. We had to give it to the tailor to get it sewn. He doesn't like ready-made pants. He likes it when they are sewn to his size. So we bought only the fabric. The fabric he bought was from Raymond Company. It was very expensive and cost ₹ 800 per meter. We bought two pieces of fabric and paid the price at the counter. Then we left and went to a department store called D-MART.
D Mart is a huge department store. All kinds of products are available here. This commercial space, which operates on two floors, is filled with products. On the ground floor, kitchen supplies, cleaning products, food products, utensils, plastic goods, etc. are kept. On the upper floor, clothes, mats, shoes, sports goods, etc. are kept.
When I asked what I wanted as a gift for my son, he said I wanted a football. So we went to the top, as the sports section was upstairs. There were a lot of sports items there. We looked at them first. For example, battery cars, balls, skating equipment, cricket bats, tennis bats, badminton bats, balls, accessories like helmets, gloves, etc., and indoor games like carrom boards, chess boards, and ludo settings. There were a lot of sports items on display there. Since I wanted to buy a football for my son, we went to the football section and looked at them. He liked a red football, so we kept it.
While he was selecting football, I visited the other sections there. There were lots of toys there. There were teddy bears, minions, cartoon tigers, lions, and bobby girls. The toys on display were very beautiful. I took them one by one and enjoyed looking at them.
There were also a lot of luggage boxes and suitcases nearby. I looked at them and took pictures. Then we went to the clothes section and saw if there was a jean jacket my son had asked for. There were the original jean jackets he had asked for. When I tried them on, none of them were his size. They were all too big. I tried on at least six jackets and none of them fit him. My son was very upset.
However, there was another type of jacket that was there that was a set for him. It was a plaid jacket on the outside and a T-shirt inside, and there were pants to match it. He chose those and we took those too. Then when I looked at the other items, there were handbags, and among them, women's handbags and purses were very beautiful. I looked at all of them.
They were made of Hawaiian leather, fabrics, and had embroidery. I knew their prices were also very low. For example, a purse cost from 200 to 500 rupees and a handbag cost from 300 to 1500 rupees. They were in line with their quality. Although I liked a lot of bags, I decided to buy one, but I expected it to be suitable for storing a water bottle, money, a key chain, a phone, etc. So I decided to get a large-sized handbag. There were many varieties of them, ranging from 300 to 1500 rupees. I chose a handbag that cost about 500 rupees. It was a large size and could hold everything I expected.
Meanwhile, there were a lot of clothes and rasgullas for my son to wear at home. They were cheap and we selected a dress from them and took it. We also took a pair of shorts and a jersey dessert for my son. We took a total of three dresses for him and took a bag for me and a football. We went to the billing section downstairs.
We then paid the bill and left from there to home. Thus, the shopping experience of the day was very pleasant and enjoyable. I hope you liked this diary. Be sure to post your comments in my comment section.
