The diary game || Better life with steem|| A refreshment between the journey
The premises housed various shops—including a vegetarian restaurant, a non-vegetarian restaurant, a government shop, a cosmetics store, and a jewelry shop—as well as a bakery; we visited and photographed all of them.
Inside the restaurant, the seating consisted of large, comfortable sofas, making it ideal for a relaxed dining experience. We consulted the menu and ordered the 'Meals' (a traditional full-course meal), which arrived about 15 minutes later. The spread included a variety of dishes such as steamed rice, sambar, kuzhambu, kootu, poriyal, appalam, curd, rasam, buttermilk, and payasam; everything was delicious.
Although we were concerned we might not have the appetite to finish such a hearty meal, the food was so tasty and the portions so generous that we all enjoyed it thoroughly and left satisfied. After the meal, we visited the on-site sweet stall, which offered a wide array of treats. In addition to traditional Indian sweets—such as laddu, jalebi, mysore pak, rasgulla, gulab jamun, and milk peda—there were Western-style sweets and pastries available. Savory snacks like murukku, thattai, adai murukku, and pakoda were also on display. We purchased some 'mixture' (savory snack mix), murukku, and sweets to take home for our relatives before setting off to continue our journey.
