The diary game || Better life with steem|| Really a fruitful day

Hi friends,
Summer has already started here. Although the heat isn't intense yet, summer fruits like grapes, watermelon, and muskmelon have started appearing in the market. Yesterday, we also bought a watermelon. We cut and ate it. The fruit wasn't very red because it was cut prematurely, and its seeds were also small. Nevertheless, it tasted good. I cut the fruit into small pieces and shared it with everyone, and my neighbor and I ate some too. I was very happy to have eaten the first fruit of this summer season.

When buying a watermelon, everyone wants it to be red inside, and we thought the same. Once, a vendor told us that if you want a fruit that is bright red inside, its pattern should not be close together but spread out. Believing him, we bought the fruit, but it wasn't red inside; it was pale and had a large white area.

In the evening, I noticed that our mango tree had started flowering for the next season, so I thought we should pick the remaining fruits from the previous season. Because the new fruits need energy, it's best to pick the existing ones so that the new yield will be good. This season, the tree gave us a harvest twice. The first time, we got a very large quantity of fruits. We had already picked the fruits twice this season, and this was the third time.

There were many fruits on the tree; about three-quarters of them were eaten by squirrels and birds, and we also ate some, so we left the rest. Now, since the tree has started flowering for the next season, we are compelled to pick them. So, thinking we should pick them, my husband, my son, and I went and started picking. Some fruits were at a great height, so we used a hooked stick to pull them down. While my husband was doing that, I stood below and held them with my nightgown and a piece of cloth. I couldn't properly catch some of the fruits.

This time we picked about 15 fruits. We couldn't pick some because they were too high up, so we left them as they were. Although some fruits were within reach, we left them too because they were very small. Nevertheless, we felt that picking 15 fruits meant our effort had yielded some reward.

Finally, after plucking all the fruits, I placed them in a cardboard box to ripen at home. The first time I did this, the fruits ripened and tasted very delicious. Usually, some chemicals are added to ripen them, but those fruits don't taste good. The fruits ripen quickly, but they lack flavor. I didn't want to do that; I wanted them to ripen naturally. So, I simply placed the fruits in a cardboard box and closed it. I planned to open it and check after three days.
