The Dairy Game: Going To Church With My Neighbour And Later Going To Work (21-2-2026)
Hello lovelies, my name is Ekemini Edet but my username on steemit is kemkem1. Today being Sunday, I woke up early and started my morning chores. I swept the house, arranged the sitting room, washed the plates, and made sure everything around me was neat and in order. I like starting my day in a clean environment because it makes me feel calm and organized. After cleaning, I went ahead to take my bath and get myself ready for the day. While I was still handling my morning duties, the highlight of today was going to church. My neighbour that wanted to go with is to church was already dressed up even when I was still doing chores.I had to beg him to please wait wait fore so we can go together . Seeing that he was ready so fast encouraged me to finish up quickly and prepare for church too.
After completing my morning activities, my siblings and I began preparing for church. We reminded ourselves that we needed to arrive on time, so everybody tried their best not to delay. We ironed our clothes, polished our shoes, and made sure we looked neat and presentable. There was a little laughter as we helped each other get ready. We checked the time again to be sure we were not running late. Soon, we were all dressed and fully prepared for service. Before stepping out, we said a short prayer together and committed our journey into God’s hands, then we left happily for church when we are church, I sat with my friend till the end of the church service
The church service was very interesting and uplifting. From the opening prayer to the praise and worship session, everything was beautiful. The choir sang powerful songs and hymns that lifted our spirits and filled the church with joy. Everyone clapped, sang along, and worshipped wholeheartedly. The sermon was inspiring and meaningful. The message touched our hearts and encouraged us to trust God in every situation. I learned important lessons that I will always remember. The atmosphere in church was peaceful, and the service was truly a blessing to us all. We returned home happily, feeling refreshed and thankful.
After we returned from church, I rested briefly before preparing to leave for work. Even though I felt a little tired, I was still happy because the service had blessed me. I changed my clothes and packed the things I needed. My siblings wished me a safe journey, and I appreciated their kind words. Later, while chatting with Matthew, he noticed that my mood was not really okay. He asked me what was wrong, but I found it hard to explain how I was feeling. He was not comfortable seeing me that way, and that showed how much he truly cares about me.
