SteemRetroGames : Had A Bittersweet Experience Today Playing The SteemPong Game.

I know the question you probably want to ask is what do you mean by bittersweet experience. Alright just a moment and I will spill everything you need to know. I really do not know where to start from guys! Should I start with the sweet part or the bitter part...lols

You know I played this game today feeling like the boss that I am, I was very optimistic about the outcome of the game. You know the usual excellent win but guess what I had a serious loss today...and I didn't feel good about it at all.

But you know what, I learned a lot from this game because I apply my gaming experience here with practical real life situations and one of the things I learned today is that life comes with curves, it's not a straight line journey.

There are times you're on a straight fast lane and there are other times you need to slow down because of the bends and curve ahead. They are just inevitable and we must be able to build in our self shock absorber to absorb the shocks of those moments when they eventually come.

So I had my first play, as usual I had my beautiful win, of course you know what I call a win. Any score above the 1k mark for me is a win, maybe someday I'll raise the bar to 2k...smiles. So yeah! I made my first win just as seen below.

And here comes the bitter part, I played the second round as usual to establish my victory but guess what, I met the very shocker I hadn't built enough shocker for and that was the score I had after playing. My eyes popped because everything happened so fast but it ended up with a loss for me because I didn't score up to the 1k point which is my benchmark for any meaningful win.

This was the point I was tryin to establish earlier that sometime we experience this curves that causes us to slow down. But guess what my response and reaction to my experience was. I didn't call it quit, I didn't accept defeat. Usually I would play just two rounds and that's it for the day but this time I refused to end the game that way...

I played the third round just to turn the narrative around and yes I did, I went right back up to where I fell from and that gladdened my heart. At that point I resolved in my heart that anytime I fall short of the ideal, I will play another round until I get it right. That's my resolve guys.

So guys, I hope you got value from this piece of mine, I actually didn't want to make it some motivational writeup but trust me, this is the best way I could make the most out of my gaming experience today. Thanks for your time friends.
