Central Bus Terminal, Dinajpur.
Dinajpur Bus Terminal is located in the Mirzapur area of Dinajpur, it is along the highway. To get here, there are bus services from every nearby district, and at the same time, buses operate from 13 upazilas of Dinajpur district during the day. If you ask any rickshaw or other small vehicle from the city, you can reach the bus terminal by paying 10-20 taka. Only day bus services are provided from this bus terminal. There are numerous buses on different routes from 7 am to evening.

This terminal was established in 1993. It has created a big potential for Dinajpur in the transportation sector. The terminal is an important center for the transportation sector, where passengers gather or buses wait for passengers, through which the transport owner workers earn money by providing transportation facilities to passengers. This terminal is officially open from morning to evening. Gatelock or seating service buses run from morning to evening and buses leave at a fixed time, for example, buses leave every 25 minutes for Amadea to Phulbari, and buses leave every 45 minutes for Bogra, and buses from other districts leave at the same time.

The convenience here is that passengers can wait for a short time before getting on a bus on each route, which saves passengers time and delivers them to their destination quickly. Apart from that, other facilities are not very good, such as the entire area of the terminal is hilly and has canals, which makes it difficult for passengers to take small vehicles. Passengers arriving at night lack some security, such as robbery or rickshaws demanding higher fares from the terminal to their destination.

If there is a rest area for passengers here, it is a very small passenger shelter which is mostly occupied by homeless people and people doing business here, due to which this rest area is not very comfortable for resting. Also, there is no toilet for ordinary passengers. There is a toilet and a bathroom at the end of the terminal which is used by the bus workers and they use water from there to clean the buses. There is no electricity or fan during the hot weather. However, there are a few restaurants here that serve food at normal prices.

Here, the bus fare is fixed at a fixed rate for each route for passengers. It is 2.12 taka per kilometer. However, for a specific place, they charge a little less than this, which is their fixed fare. I am mentioning the fares mentioned for a few routes. The bus service of Dinajpur Bus Terminal is good on some routes and on some routes very small buses which are not fit for purpose run on other routes with road permits but they are often stuck by the administration. Although they follow the fixed time throughout the day, some buses run at night which are for patients and relatives who come to see the doctor but the buses running at night do not leave if there are no passengers on the bus seat.
