The Diary Game// (20/03/2026) Visiting a neighbor's shop and also doing a sit-out

As I woke up from bed that morning, I didn't have any plan of going out, I just wanted to have some rest since I was so busy the previous day without having time to rest. But I was wrong because the day has already gotten its own plan for me. So I started my day with doing a little laundry before I begin doing any other thing, of recent I don't like keeping any of my dirty cloth pile up, if I wear it today I will wash it the next day.

When I was done doing the laundry, it was as if I wanted to faint because I was feeling hungry, as if I did a tremendous job, so I quickly pick some cucumber from the fridge and ate to regain back my strength.

After eating the cucumber I gathered back my strength and begins to write my diary game of the previous day. That process took me about 2hours to roundup and I was happy to have finished it well. When I was done with the writing I started attending to my house chores, I tidy up my room before going to take my bath, thereafter, I prepared a good breakfast and ate to my satisfaction.

While I was eating a distance neighbor of mine came to check on me. She was worried as she has not seen me for awhile now, so she invited me to her shop since I didn't have any thing doing during the day, to show how she really wanted me to come around, she had to drop me some cash for my transportation down there.

That was how my plan of staying at home to rest scattered. I had to look for what to wear and start going to meet her.

About stepping out of the house

I strolled out from my street to the junction where I will enter a tricycle to my neighbor's shop, as I got there, those driver have triple the transport fare, for just a short distance place and the money she gave me wasn't up to that amount. I decided to start trekking down to the shop since it wasn't that far, just that I had to walk under the scourging sun but I didn't mind because I saw it as an extortion of money from passenger by the tricycle drivers for just a short distance place.

When I finally reach there, my neighbor was laughing at me because of how I was sweating since she knew I trek down there, then she asked why I didn't pay for a tricycle so I told her what happened, she was shocked to hear that because that wasn't what she paid when she went to her shop.

While we were there gisting and also making sales, she decided to give me a treat with a roadside food, bolly and smoke fish for me while she ate coconut rice.

Immediately, there was a downfall of rain to calm the hot weather but it wasn't coming at the right time because we were outside under a canopy that couldn't cover us well as the rain was kind of heavy making it to splash water on us. Few minutes on, my neighbor received a call from one of our male neighbor asking her whereabout and if she can come meet him at one of the sit-out place in town, that he wants to give us a treat, that's how my neighbor quickly closed her shop and we moved down to the location immediately.

On getting there we meet a full squot of six guys drinking palmy and eating roasted fish and cassava, that's another kind of a delicious roadside meal that's always spicy.

We stayed there for some hours till it was almost getting dark before our male neighbor drove us in his car back home. I was so filled up, tired and exhausted with enough choppings. I was happy that I didn't just waste my day at home, because such outing always comes once-in-while, so when it comes like that you don't have reason to stay back except you're not around or you have other engagement.

I can remember the last time we had such outing was during the Xmas period, since then everyone has been busy with their lives. That was how my yesterday went and I'm glad I enjoyed it well.
