The diary game || Better life with steem|| Beginning the New month with God, Market Calling and Cooking for the weekend [ 1st November,2025]

Early morning heading to Fresh Anointing program in the church
Happy new month dearie 🥰 😍,
Welcome to the eleventh month of year, the month of November may it be the best month ever.
Every first day of the month my church usually host a program by 6am tagged "fresh Anointing", In these program it is a moment of committing the month into God's hand by prayers, worship and seed offering.
It was an awesome moment in God's presence as I was refreshed.
The church dismissed by 7:30am and moved from there to market to buy weekend food stuffs,I prepared myself very well because I know getting back to the house after church will be little bit hectic,so I package my market money and bag while heading to church.
Its surprised me that market women usually gone to the market very early even from 5am the crowd I met was overwhelming so I quickly bought all that I needed and return back home.

When I got home I felt drained so I got this ripe papaya to refresh and build myself before embarking into opening and prepare the items I bought in the market

So, after enjoying and sugary papaya I started preparing my soup items, Yeah, I was going to Cook our popular soup "Afang Soup" it takes much time to finish it up especially if someone start from the scratch like plugging the leaves in the farm, washed and slice it but mine I bought already sliced one so I went straight to Preparing .
Here's the breakdown of how I get everything done, so I washed my meat, fish, periwinkle, stockfish and spice them, then steam it.

The next in line was water leaf, I washed it and slice

Now, the cooking proper, after steaming and cutting my water leaf it was now time to cook, I put a sizable quantity of water in the steamed ingredients and added palm oil and allow it to boiled 👇👇

I was actually cooking with firewood because its faster and does not allow the leaves to die completely.
So, when it boils properly, I added my sliced water leave as shown below 👇

When I finished cooking the soup I checked time it was around past 4pm, that was already afternoon entering into evening.
So, rounded up my soup here and enter part two, part two was preparation of swallow, so I prepare fufu, fufu is made from cassava after fermentation, grinding, washing, bagging and dewatering .
Here are steps taken to prepare fufu;

So, finally I share both fufu and soup for my family, it serves as dinner for us.

After sharing, I didn't eat mine immediately, I quickly freshen up and get ready to deal with the food, I download it till I was satisfied

I gave myself the biggest part because I really gone through a lot in making the food ready, although I didn't finish the whole bowel immediately.
My back and waist ache, as I went to bed because of how I was bending to turn the fufu 😅😅.
