A Memorable Experience at My School Friend’s Village Wedding.
A few days ago I got a chance to go to the village for the wedding of my very good school friend. My friend belongs to Hindu religion, so her wedding rituals were completely new and special for me. For the first time, I saw the entire tradition of Hindu marriage from such close quarters. This experience became very memorable for me. I also made many wedding videos so that I can always remember these beautiful moments.
The atmosphere of the wedding in the village was very different and beautiful. The entire house was decorated with colorful lights, flowers and decorations. Happiness and enthusiasm were visible everywhere. The women looked great in beautiful sarees and the men in traditional clothes. My friend was looking very beautiful as a bride. Happiness was clearly visible on his face.
The most special thing was that the village women were singing traditional songs during the wedding rituals. Whenever there was a marriage ceremony, all the women would come together and start singing songs of happiness. The feeling of love, happiness and blessings was clearly felt in his songs. The sound of dholak and sweet voices of women were making the whole atmosphere even more beautiful. For the first time I heard such folk songs so closely. Listening to those songs, it seemed as if the old culture and tradition of the village had come alive.
When the wedding procession arrived, everyone was very happy. People were dancing with drums and music. The groom was welcomed with great respect. This was followed by the Jayamala ceremony, where the bride and groom garlanded each other. This moment was very beautiful and I also made a video of it.
The pavilion was beautifully decorated with flowers. Pandit ji was reciting mantras and everyone was watching the rituals quietly. The ritual of seven rounds was most special for me. For the first time, I saw so carefully how the bride and groom take seven vows and promise to live together for the rest of their lives. At that time the women of the village again started singing Mangal Geet, which made the whole atmosphere seem even more emotional and sacred.
There was also arrangement for delicious food at the wedding. The food in the village was very tasty and everyone was eating happily together. I love to see that marriage is not just a union of two people, but also a beautiful union of two families and relationships.
This marriage gave me an opportunity to understand other cultures and traditions closely. I realized that even if religions are different, the importance of love, happiness and relationships is the same everywhere. This wedding of my friend became a beautiful and memorable experience for me, which I will never forget.
