Eid day was just a few days ago, but honestly it still feels very fresh in my mind. The happiness and simple moments of that day are something I am still remembering again and again. Every Eid feels special, but this one was very peaceful and full of small beautiful moments with family.

In the morning, we all woke up a bit early. There is always some excitement on Eid, so automatically we don’t feel like sleeping for long. I went to the kitchen and started making dudh puri, which is a special dish in our home for Eid. Slowly the sweet smell spread in the whole house, and it felt really nice. Meanwhile, everyone else was getting ready. After finishing my work, I also took a bath and got ready in my Eid clothes. Wearing new clothes always gives a different happiness on Eid.

After that, all the men from our house went to the mosque for Eid namaz. At that time, the whole mohalla became very quiet. Usually there is noise and movement, but for some time it felt completely silent because everyone had gone for prayer. After a while, people started coming back, and again the area became lively. Everyone was greeting each other and saying Eid Mubarak with smiles.

When everyone came back home, we kept the dudh puri and did fatiha. It is an important part for us, and it always feels emotional in a simple way. After that, we all sat together and ate. Food always tastes better when everyone is sitting together like this.

Later, we started visiting nearby relatives and neighbors. We went to each other’s homes and wished Eid Mubarak. It was nice meeting everyone after Ramzan. There was happiness everywhere, and children were especially excited. The whole area became full of life, laughter, and greetings.

In the afternoon, I went out with my family for some outing. We didn’t do anything big, just spent some time together outside. Roads were full of people, everyone dressed nicely, enjoying their day. It felt good to just walk around and be part of that atmosphere.

At night, we decided to go out for dinner, so we went to Asopalav restaurant. It was quite crowded, many families were there for Eid dinner. We ordered some food and sat together. The food was good, but more than that, the time spent together felt special. It was a simple ending to a nice day.

Overall, the whole day went in a very smooth and happy way. Nothing too fancy, but full of real moments. Even now, when I think about it, it feels warm and nice. Eid is really about these small things - family, food, and being together.
