The Diary Game: A Visit To Remember(05-01-2026)

Hey'lo besties, @queenlina here again. How are you all doing? School resumed yesterday but I decided to give myself extra week break to rest before going back to school stress. I woke up late because I didn't plan on stepping out but I later got a call from my Aunt who asked why I haven't visited her yet and asked if she's really such a bad Aunty? I was guilt tripped so I got dressed and went to her house. I was welcomed by my cousins with whom I took this pics with.

Within thirty minutes of my stay, my Aunt prepared a Sumptuous meal for me which served as my breakfast. I was given hot gists by my cousins on how their Christmas and New Year celebration was, I also gave them a fair gist on how mine was too. I stayed for a long time so when it was afternoon when they were about to prepare lunch, my Aunt asked that I help her to sieve Fufu and press it with stones so it will be good for use after making soup. I wasn't in my home wear so I asked for a wrapper because I didn't want that smell of fufu on my clothes. I got into work some minutes after I changed into wrapper.

After sieving the fufu, my Aunt gave me Chivita juice for appreciation. I was happy oo and I remembered one of our adage that says that "etuk eyen akam owo utom, uduang asie ayok enye idip" I was about changing into my clothes and returning home but my Aunt asked me to wait for a little more while so that she'll finish preparing the meal and serve me before I leave. I felt sleepy and didn't want to tell her it was the reason I wanted going home but she caught me dozing off on the chair and asked that I go in and relax. That little relaxation made me wake up in the evening.

I was served a plate of delicious Editan soup and fufu, I ate and ate till there was no space in my stomach to contain more food. I thanked my Aunt and took my leave. I returned home to a tensed house, asked what's wrong and I was notified that my senior brother was involved in an accident and they're yet to know how bad it is. My mom got a call that he was rushed to the hospital, I prayed for intervention and the next call that came from him was a notification that he's stable and no serious injury was uncured.
