The Diary Game: Saturday's Are For Asoebi Duties And Making Weekend Meals(17-01-2026)

Hey there, it's @roselyynn and I'm excited to make it here to share my diary with you all. Saturday's ate for weddings and I was dressed and out to celebrate with my friend whose traditional marriage happened to be today and I was among the asoebi girls who made her big day colorful. I have been with her since last night in her hotel room and we created so many lovely content and memories which I would've loved to share here but since I do not have a clue on how videos are being posted here, I'll drop my beautiful pics below on order not to keep you in suspense.

The white wedding took place in the morning by 10am and traditional marriage followed in the afternoon by 1pm. Everything was done in order and in time and I left the venue early after the close of event so I could prepare something for the family and also doing some little preparation ahead of tomorrow's service. I got home and ate the meal I found in the kitchen as lunch before going to the market to buy some food items which I'll use in making weekend soup, anyone who's from an African home here knows how valuable weekend meals are for the family.

First thing I saw as I stepped into the market is some bunch of plantain that were big and fine, I didn't have it in my list but I couldn't walk past it so I had to stop by to know the price and maybe adjust my budget to buy one bunch of it but the price was too high for someone like me and I just had to let it go despite having visualized what to do with the plantain, like the kind of meal I will prepare with it.

Time was not on my side so I had to be snappy with my purchase, I entered the Keke and returned home after buying everything on my list. I also bought a little something known as "mkpo uyong udua" in Ibibio dialect for my husband do he would help me in the kitchen though it was not his turn to cook. I reached home and changed to something comfortable and light for the hot weather, went into the kitchen and first boiled water for garri as there was no light to use the heater. I proceeded to making a pot of vegetable soup which I dished and served immediately it was ready.

I took my bath, ate with my husband and climbed the bed to rest, by rest I only wanted to just lay my back on bed because I have been up and running since morning and haven't lied down since then buy it turned out that I fell asleep if not the tap from my husband who asked if I have made my post and I sprung up from bed to make this diary and will immediately return back once I'm done uploading it on the platform.
