The Diary Game: Going To Work, And Returning Home From Work (13/05/2026)

in Hindwhale Community9 days ago (edited)

Hi everyone, welcome to another diary session with yours truly @ruthyvelly.

Today is one of those days going to work feels tiring, but there's nothing that can be done about it. I started my day with my usual morning devotion, did some workout and stretched my body to be fit for the day. After that, I headed straight to the well and drew some water i used to bath, did the dishes and prepared for work.

I left early because I rounded up everything I was supposed to do at home on time. There was a lot of traffic on the road because of the road they were doing some maintenance on, which lasted for a while before the road cleared, and this made me get to work a bit late.

I wasn't stressed much at work because my colleagues all helped out in doing my own task, unlike some days they wouldn't care. During break time, one of my colleagues voluntarily brought a bokku mart bread for all of us with beans, though i didn't feel like eating the beans, so I ate mine with butter instead. Then after some time, the management instructed us that we would be closing an hour earlier than the normal closing time, so we quickly rounded up all the works we had to do for the day.

On my way home, I went to the atm to try withdrawing again because my card declined the previous day I went to withdraw, and it was successful this time around.

A funny thing happened on my way home, we noticed an unusual traffic which barely happens on this particular route. So at some point, our driver stepped out to know what was the cause of the traffic, that was when we knew that it was nothing serious, rather a tax collector and a driver were fighting over money. Thank God for the intervention of some road that came, and settled them before the road cleared.

When I got home, my sister had already prepared dinner. So i ate, we gisted, and I freshened up before I rested.

Thank you for reading, and see you in my next diary session.
