The Diary Game: A Cold Morning And Harvesting Cassava 28/2/2026

Today's Saturday and since I left in the morning, I couldn't even do anything, I was just sitting down outside my house to enjoy the breeze. The rain fell and this is the first rain we experienced for the year. I like as everywhere was wet. The whole area was cold. I told my staff not to go to work because the market will close early today.

When I stood up from where I was staying, I went to the market that is closed to my place, I bought cassava and then I came to the house to peel them. I want to make garri here. This is my last year's cultivation, I just harvested them today. When I came back, I peeled them.

After peeling and soaking the cassava in water, when I finished. I washed my hands and packed the cassava peels to the farm and dumped them there, it will still serve as manure to the plants.

I slept small because the person (my son) that use to disturb me wasn't around and I had enough time to sleep. When I woke up, I checked if the cassava I soaked needed water again, I went to the well and fetched water and then I added to the cassava.

After adding water to the cassava, I went to my wife's shop but what I saw didn't sit well with me, there was a stagnant water beside the shop. I called her landlord and complained it to him, he sent one boy to come and work on the place.

I stayed with them and helped them while my wife took her rest. They were eating star apple, they didn't give me, you can imagine. Anyways, they know I don't like star apple. I attended to customers for them and till in the evening time, we closed the shop and rest.

We went back home and after we got to the house, my wife brought soup and garri, we ate the food together. After we finished eating, then I went to the well and fetched water we will use this night and tomorrow as well.

When I came inside, my son and my wife were already done bathing, I went inside and I bath. When I finished, I login to steemit to share my story.
