The Diary Game: Morning Self-care And Sharing Food With Neighbor 19/2/2026

Taking time out to take care of my hair because my brother left to go to his in-law's place. I went to the barber that was just some distance away from their house and I barbed the hair and I asked him to apply black dye on the hair. My hair was beginning to look brownish and I don't like it.

I was sitting down under the tree when I came back from the barber's shop, waiting for the hair to dry so that I can go and bath so I will do other things, although there was barely anything I could do because before my brother left, he had kept food for me and everything was set.

When the hair dried, I went inside and I washed the hair and then I took my bath. After taking my bath, I took the food he kept for me and came outside so that I can eat with the neighbour. I don't like eating alone, if I didn't know anybody there, I would've just been starving without eating. I brought the food outside and I ate it with my brother's neighbour.

After we finished eating, I took the plate and the spoons inside and washed them before coming outside to stay again. I was enjoying the site of people going to farm and others doing menial jobs for survival in the village. Rural areas like this is always very peaceful and serene.

There is this mechanic I was concentrating on, according to people, he is the best motorcycle mechanic if not the best in this village and people do come from the Urban part of the state to repair bike with him. I don't know why he doesn't have a shop building but he has such skill and still working under the tree shade.

I was dozing off at random because of how breezy staying under the tree was, so I went inside to sleep. I slept on the couch, the room was very quiet so I stayed in the parlour where I will still be hearing people voices. That's the disadvantage of staying here because you will have to deal with the quietness.

When I woke up by 5pm, I came outside to stay with one of the neighbour that sells local food and black market fuel. I bought of those and ate, this thing was so heavy, infact it was like I ate the whole world. I stayed there till night that I couldn't go inside.

When I finally got inside after my brother came back from his in-law's place, we joined hands and ate the food together and then I bathed for the last time in the evening. I am missing my family and I can't wait for Monday to return back to them. My brother said we should go to the nearest bar and take some bottles of drinks, I wanted to see what night life over looks like so I joined him.

I drank some bottles of stout and after that, we came back home and I called my family and heard from them before I to go and sleep.
