Why is FEBRUARY the shortest month?
February we all know to be the second month of the year also the shortest month in the year with the only month that has less than 30days, it has 28days in common year and 29days in a leap year.

Can we blame it on the Romans, specifically a Roman king named - Pompilius Numa, who established the basic Roman calendar in 8th century BC, which only had TEN month as at then, so to keep Roman calendar in syn with the luna one, Numa added TWO new month which are JANUARY and FEBRUARY!
