Hello friends,

Welcome to my blog where I share the week's painting with us. I have not painted on plastic before, but I tried to do so this week.

Starting my painting on plastic, I brought my painting tools which are;

• Plastic rubber
• Pencil
• Eraser
• paints

So I proceeded to drawing the lines I needed for the design of my painting with a pencil. After drawing the lines, I went further to paint some parts black because that was what I needed for my work.

After the black was completed, I started the dotted white on the black paint which was to compliment my work.

Thereafter, I used the red color of paint to make a design like V, but this time facing downwards. I also made a black ball like an eye and then dotted it with white to make it look good.

To follow the rule as prescribed by the teacher, I added my user name

Oh yes! It was so difficult painting on plastic. The first attempt I tried, I had to clean it up because it wasn't coming out well. I started another one and the plastic made it look bad then I thought of something else to do so that the plastic can accept it.

This last attempt was not so easy but it finally came out, not as planned but its manageable. I have never painted on plastics before hence the difficulties.

Yes, it is.

First, it gives me a sense of ownership. When ever I paint using my own creativity, colors, patterns, or any small detail that reflects my personality, the works looks unique. It makes my work have a meaning.

Secondly, the thought of ownership boost creativity. Instead of just copying design, you get to experiment by mixing colors, adding symbols or even telling a story through the painting. The freedom often makes the experience more fun and relaxing.

Thirdly, it creates an emotional connection. A personalized painting can remind you of someone, or a feeling, and so, you are not just painting but expressing yourself.
