A warm welcome to you all. It is a great privilege to have you all once again on my blog. Today's post is a form of a report on the current happening around my area. It is indeed a call for concern as many lives and families are threatened.

Natural disaster has been with man from their origin. Flood is another thing that has been disturbing a lot of people within these few seasons because of the rainfall. I have always seen reports about this ugly incident from other steemians outside my country.

But today, I'm seeing the same thing happening in my dear country Nigeria. The people of Karim Lamido which happens to be a local government area in Taraba State Nigeria are currently experiencing a very difficult moment at this point.

Due to the consistent rainfall these past few weeks, the entire inhabitant of this area has been made homeless because the flood has taken complete possession of their entire houses. These have made the poor farmers homeless and also condemn all their properties.
It's quite unfortunate that the government of the day has done nothing about it. The masses currently are struggling for survival as many of them have migrated to towns whereas others have who do not have anywhere to go to remain on the water.

The issue is indeed a serious one and currently needs urgent intervention. If there are ways which you know can be used to control floods and also assist those affected, please do not hesitate to share with us. At this stage, we need all the help necessary to touch lives.
This is a report coming from me as regards the happenings in my area currently. The people of Karim Lamido need help and it will be great if we show them a little concern. I do hope that this post will be made more visible so that all those who can assist will do that.

On the island side of Lagos State, we are currently dealing with a similar problem where millions of properties have been devastated by flooding.
