Dead ground

Continuation of the previous post about the abandoned quarry. The part remote from the main working is now partially flooded. The water was left after the snow melted. The quarry does not dry out completely, these lakes only change their color - by the beginning of autumn they will become greenish. Now the water is gray-brown, due to the large amount of limestone in the water.

By the way, now is one of the most favorable times for photo walks in the quarry. In summer, it is not very comfortable to be there because of the dust, a huge amount of dust. Autumn also has its own charm of visiting - gray landscapes dilute the yellow-red color of the trees.
