In a world where a viral tweet or post can make one known and have a lot of following et the things that come with it, Achieving success “seems to have become a walk in the park”, but do not be mistaken, it would have taken that person countless months or years of consistency/ or behind the scene work to get this level of acknowledgment, so in that regard achieving success is quite challenging, but you see, there is something harder and that’s retaining success because here, people think this is the point to relax, rather it’s the point where the most energy is exerted.
I once heard a joke that rich men don’t sleep, I wondered why until the jester said it was because of all the wealth they had accumulated. Now they were thinking about how to retain that wealth, who they can trust, what the next moves of investments will be, et cetra, and while this was just a joke, the reality of the situation is underlying.

Success is hard to retain, especially if it was a one man team. at this point there are systems and structures to put in place to retain the wealth, countless meetings to make sure even the system is double checked and fail proof, not to talk about how hard it is to find honest men or integrity and repute who will work genuinely at another man’s work with sincere hearts as today almost everyone is looking out for themselves, not minding whose ox is gored.

What is more significant, enjoying our passion or chasing success? Describe!

Success is relative and each man has his definitions of it. I’ve seen many successful men who felt empty even after the applause and recognitions, I’ve also seen many passionate people beg for daily bread.
Succeed to the point that you can enjoy your passions. While you do what you love, also do something that will pay some basic bills and afford you the peace of mind to pursue your passion.
I’ll explain it like this: I love to sing. I can sing the year round and it would give me great delight even without being paid a dime- now that is one of my passions, but singing year round doesn’t pay the bills, so while
I sing to my hearts content, I’ll have side businesses that pay my bills and can grow to even fund my singing if I desire it to become a career or go professional.

What is the definition of achievement according to your perspective?

Achievement to me is getting a desired result.
It could be academic, marital, family, finances or business wise. It is hitting a particular goal or milestone at a desired thing.

At the beginning of the year, I set out some goals I was going to work towards doing. Before the mid of February, I had achieved some. I break down my long term plans into small goals, so that I can take stock and celebrate even the seemingly little milestones- this keeps me on track towards achieving the long term goals and also spurs me on as I recognize and celebrate. Every little win towards the big vision is an achievement for me.
