Prove yourself as the best artist for the week
Peace be upon you friends!
I am comprehending the supervening in this post what I made, way to make, how long it took, how I perceive, and where the alleviation came from. I also certify that this work is AI-free and plagiarism-free — all figures and points are my own work.
✅ Explain what you draw in your own words.
This is the upper part of a classical Greek-style broken bust—the nose, lips, and throat are prominent. Leaves are added to the sides of the sculpture and a large open flower (lila-like) is added below the neck, creating a blend of antiquity and nature.
✅Share your drawing steps by step with us( Note this important point 👉🏽 write your username and date at any point on your drawing space before you start your drawing.)
Select a space on a white blank paper and write your signature + date (as shown in the picture).
First make a light outline of the broken upper border of the sculpture.
Draw the basic shape of the nose and lips with light pencil strokes.
Lightly guided the remaining details and shadows of the upper face.
Added the initial lines of the neck and arms below the face.
Started drawing the leaves on the left side, defining the shape of each leaf with slight contrast.
Add depth and shadow to the inside of the neck to create volume.
Draw the outline of the flower and start the texture of each leaf.
Detailed lines and shading in leaves and flowers to give a realistic effect. Improved contrast by applying light and dark shades throughout the work.
Final revision clarified fine lines and removed extra stray lines.
✅ How long did take to complete your drawing and how do you feel about it.
Approximately 2 hours 30 minutes (with interval). At first I made light sketches, then gradually increased the detail. Finally the shading gave life to the whole work.
I felt so happy and relieved—the satisfaction when a sketch takes shape. Focusing on each step taught me more caution and patience. The result makes me feel proud because I brought my ideas to life on paper.
✅ Give us a beautiful selfie with your creation and where you got the inspiration form.
I was inspired by classical sculptures and the beauty of nature—the broken statue symbolizes human tenderness and silence while the flower represents life and renewal. It is this contradiction that made me create this combination.
