About The Outfit

This week I wore a plain white senator material sewn into a complete outfit both top and bottom. The design was the three quarter sleeves with a nice senator neckline and a beautifully tailored long top over matching white trousers.I had a pair of black leather shoes which gave the outfit a good touch.

Why I Love This Outfit

• The bright white colour represents purity perfectly matching the conference theme
• The three-quarter sleeves give it an elegant and dignified look
• The long senator top flowing over the trousers gives a very noble appearance
• The black shoes created a beautiful contrast against the all-white outfit
• It was comfortable enough to move around actively while serving on the ushering team
The senator material has a rich, smooth texture that photographs beautifully

Where I Got It

I purchased the senator material from Akpan Andem Market, located in the heart of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. One of the biggest and most popular markets in Uyo open daily from 6:00am to 6:00pm except Sundays. You can find virtually everything there including fabrics food items and household goods. After purchasing the material I took it to my tailor who sewed it into this beautiful outfit.

About The Event

This outfit was worn at the Purity Conference hosted by the youth of my church. The convener, Iniubong Kingsley from the Department of Communication and Mass Media at the University of Uyo preached a powerful message about purity. He taught that defilement is not only about physical intimacy but also about looking at someone lustfully which equally makes a person impure a message rooted in Matthew 5:28.

I served on the ushering team that day directing people into the venue. The event was streamed live on YouTube by Uniuyo TV and recorded over 190 views or more
