Nature Motivation Show - #9 - Fungi / Pilze

Hello Nature Lovers !

Now that you are all locked up in your accommodations for the next few weeks it is so hard to stay in touch with the beauties of nature out there. So I decided to launch this Nature Motivation Show for you ^^ It will contain 10 episodes and will be published over two weeks. Each day I will present to you one of those episodes, with collected footage from the Botanical Gardens Bochum and the Hohenstein National Park in Witten, so that you can stay sane and still feel like a creation of our Mother Earth, and not like another piece of furniture of your accommodation ;) .. I will cover trees, bushes, carnivorous plants and beautiful flowers, wild forest animals and petting zoo animals, fungi and much more for you 😜 .. Today's episode is about Fungi.

German: Jetzt, da wir alle für die nächsten Wochen eingesperrt sind, ist es schwer, in Kontakt mit den Schönheiten der Natur da draußen zu bleiben. Also habe ich beschlossen diese Nature Motivation Show für euch zu starten ^^ Es wird über 2 Wochen insgesamt 10 Episoden geben. Jeden Tag werde ich eine vorstellen, mit Aufnahmen aus dem Botanischen Garten Bochum und dem Nationalpark Hohenstein in Witten, damit ihr euch weiterhin wie eine Schöpfung unserer Mutter Erde fühlen könnt, und nicht wie ein weiteres Möbelstück eurer Wohnung ;) .. Ich werde Bäume, Sträucher, fleischfressende Pflanzen und schöne Blumen, Waldtiere und Streichelzootiere, Pilze und vieles mehr für euch abdecken .. In der heutigen Folge geht es um Pilze

Fungi

The kingdom of fungi is separate from the other eukaryotic life kingdoms such as plants and animals. All fungi are heterotrophs and they acquire their food by absorbing dissolved molecules, typically by secreting digestive enzymes into their environment. Also, Fungi do not photosynthesize. One thing that is very special in the fungus kingdom is, that they show enormous diversity of taxa with varied ecologies, life cycle strategies, and morphologies ranging from unicellular aquatic chytrids to large mushrooms. It is estimated that this kingdom hosts about nearly 4 million different species from which only about 120,000 have been described so far.

German: Das Reich der Pilze ist von den anderen eukaryotischen Reichen wie Pflanzen und Tieren getrennt. Alle Pilze sind Heterotrophen und sie erwerben ihre Nahrung durch die Aufnahme gelöster Moleküle, in der Regel durch Dieseimat von Verdauungsenzymen in ihre Umgebung. Pilze begehen auch keine photosynthese. Eine Sache, die im Pilzreich etwas ganz besonderes ist, ist, dass sie eine enorme Vielfalt an Taxa mit vielfältigen Ökologien, Lebenszyklusstrategien und Morphologien von einzelligen Aquatischen bis hin zu großen Pilzen aufweisen. Es wird geschätzt, dass dieses Königreich etwa 4 Millionen verschiedene Arten beherbergt, von denen bisher nur etwa 120.000 beschrieben wurden.

Petrified Fungi - Limestone

Skalne Grzyby is a large forest area in the Stolowe Mountains National Park in the Czech Republic that is about 2x2 km large. It features some amazing rocks and boulders that were shaped over the ages into very beautiful and really amazing fungi like formations due to rivers, streams and constant rain in this area. This which results in some really magical looking beauties for the eye and the imagination. They are made from Limestone. About 10% of all sedimentary rocks are made from limestones. Due to the solubility of limestone in water this then leads to some amazing landscapes, in which water slowly erodes the limestone over thousands to millions of years.

German: Skalne Grzyby ist ein großes Waldgebiet im Stolowe Mountains Nationalpark in der Tschechischen Republik, das etwa 2x2 km groß ist. Es verfügt über einige erstaunliche Felsen, welche im Laufe der Jahrhunderte zu sehr schönen und wirklich erstaunlichen Pilzformationen, hauptsächlich durch Flüsse, Bäche und Dauerregen, geformt wurden. Dies führt zu einigen wirklich magisch aussehenden Schönheiten für das Auge und die Phantasie. Sie bestehen aus Kalkstein. Etwa 10% aller Sedimentgesteine werden sind aus Kalksteinen. Aufgrund der Löslichkeit von Kalkstein im Wasser führt dies dann zu einigen erstaunlichen Landschaften, da das Wasser den Kalkstein über Tausende bis Millionen von Jahren hinweg langsam erodiert.
