Contest alert- All in one contest W31:"Photographs of some pottery"
Greetings
Photographs of some pottery:
Today I will share some photography. Photography has a special feature. Which carries the tradition of our rural Bengalis. I collected these photographs from the Krishnasayar Mela in Burdwan. This fair was held last year. So it also works as our old memories. So I have shared some pottery photography in this contest.
This contest is undoubtedly excellent, and it has been organized by @steemkidss. I extend my sincere thanks to them for organizing such a wonderful contest. So let's take a look---

Here, the simple and unadorned life of a village woman has been portrayed through the medium of clay. Pottery—that is, artwork crafted from earth or clay—typically takes on artistic forms, shapes, and designs at the hands of potters or artisans. It is generally used to create objects that are either aesthetic or utilitarian in nature. However, in this instance, I have attempted—through the lens of photography—to capture a series of aesthetic vignettes crafted from clay by an artist, depicting a scene where a housewife sits holding a broken basket.
This artwork, too, features a female subject—reflecting the diverse tasks that Bengali women perform in their daily lives. Here, a woman is depicted returning home carrying a bundle of straw on her head—and doing so while walking barefoot.
Through this artwork, the artist depicts a figure carrying an earthen pot—a scene that mirrors the reality of village life, where housewives are commonly observed fetching water in pitchers. Furthermore, all the women in the painting are clad in sarees, adorned with vermilion in their hair partings and conch-shell bangles on their wrists; thus, the imagery vividly portrays Hindu women within the rich tradition of Bengali culture, effectively capturing the essence of rural life.
Depicted here are two men: one is a sadhak—that is, a follower of a religious path—while the other earns his livelihood through arduous labor.
