Mass Effect Trilogy - A Trilogy That Changed Video Games Forever.

Back in 2007 when Mass Effect was first released , there was nothing quite like it. . Nothing matched the deep established lore of the world , the carefully drawn out consequential choices in the game's world , the love that was put into it's characters and the romance it had with the players and characters.

There was something bold about the Mass Effect. News articles created controversies about the mature theme of the game. And yet , its explorative nature won over it's audience hearts. It was something that , undeniably , changed the gaming medium.

Gaming had scarce seen a product that utilized its medium so effectively to tell its story a tale that was , undoubtedly , best told in its own medium. And when Mass Effect 2 followed , it only broke the records set by Mass Effect 1. It was found in the ' best games of all time ' lists , and the consequences of players choices was highlighted in full display. The romantic elements in the game were done with a wonderous care , and the chraracters become imp[ossible to be disliked.

Personal love interest in the trilogy

Mass Effect 3 followed Mass Effect 2\s footsteps and though it wasn't able to quite stick the landing , it became one of the most atmospherically beautiful games I personally have ever played. There were many things to love about Mass Effect 3 , exceptionally the pure justice that was done to individual characters , the better than ever gameplay and the ambition of it's story.
Mass Effect has been a larger than life experience for me , and I only hope the next Mass Effect could impact the gaming world as it had done in the past.
