Today I had the opportunity to attend an important meeting held at the village head's office. The meeting was attended by village officials and members of the P2G (Village and Community Development Group). The primary purpose of the meeting was to discuss the selection of candidate numbers for village head candidates before the election, which will be held on April 12, 2025.

From the outset, the atmosphere of the meeting was quite serious yet conducive. The participants sat together in the room attentively, listening to every discussion presented. This activity is a crucial stage in the democratic process at the village level, so all parties strive to conduct it properly and transparently.

The meeting began with an opening remark by the chairperson, who explained the purpose and mechanism for determining ballot numbers. This determination was made so that each candidate would have a clear identity during the election process, allowing the public to easily recognize and vote for their candidate.

Next, a discussion ensued regarding the technical implementation of the ballot number drawing. All parties agreed that this process must be conducted fairly and openly to avoid future misunderstandings. Therefore, it was agreed that the drawing would be conducted live, witnessed by all parties present.

The meeting also discussed several other important matters, such as the committee's readiness to hold the election, the rules that candidates must adhere to, and efforts to maintain security and order during the election process. All of this aims to ensure the village head election runs smoothly and produces a leader truly chosen by the community.

I observed good cooperation between village officials and P2G members in carrying out their respective duties. The discussion proceeded responsibly, with each participant given the opportunity to express their opinions and suggestions.

I believe this type of activity is crucial because it is part of a healthy democratic process at the village level. Determining ballot numbers is not merely a formality, but also the first step towards a free and fair election.

The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement on the ballot number determination mechanism and the next steps. All parties hope that the village head election process will proceed safely, orderly, and successfully.

Through this meeting, I have further realized the importance of the participation of the community and village officials in maintaining democracy in our community. Hopefully the upcoming village head elections will produce trustworthy leaders who are able to lead the village towards better progress.
