SEC S6W3: "If I was steemcurator01"

Hi steemians,
Welcome to the third week of the steemit engagement challenge for season 6. This week, I'm starting my entry from this noble community because of how interesting the topic looks. About a few weeks ago, as a MOD in the steem4nigeria community, I decided to organise a contest titled if I was a curator.

This contest doesn't seem too different from that contest of mine and trusts me I had a lot of entering in that contest as many people came in to express themself. I want to believe that this is a bigger avenue for more users on the steemit platform to express themselves about the curation activities of the big curator. I will be attempting the questions below as a sign of my participation.

If I were the operator of the steemcurator01 account, I will do exactly what the present curator is doing. Going around the platform looking for quality articles and supporting them. Another thing I will always do is to drop a comment on users' posts on any place I felt there should be an improvement. This is what the present curator does though. In my opinion, I will try to act exactly like the person currently handling the account.

The criteria I would take into consideration are first, the content must be steemexclusive and plagiarism free. Secondly, if the articles follow every other criterion such as club status and have a very good presentation. More also, I will check to be sure that the content adds something to the readers no matter how small.

When the article fulfils the above-listed criteria, I will then reward the publication. This reward is based on quality hence, an article with higher quality will get higher support but one without much quality will get lesser support. The quality includes all the criteria I have listed above.

I will like to dedicate more percentage votes to educational content, charity work, contest and diary games. Educational content will go a long way to help others learn more things on the platform hence I will always encourage it with a high percentage of upvotes. Charity work is another place I will support mostly because that goes a long way to touch the lives of many around the world.

We are very much aware that we can travel everywhere or be everywhere at the same time hence once there is any trusted body ready to work to endure they help the poor, I will try always to support such projects. Content like the diary game is another content I will love to support so much because of its originality.

Diary game helps steemians to learn about the happening in one's life and the happening in their area. Most of the content written in the diary game is very original content and that is what the platform needs. Another thing I will support is contests, organisers help to keep the platform busy and those who participate share their views about the topic under consideration. This topic today will help the operator of the SC01 account to know what people are thinking or saying about him/her.

As you all know, the account has a limit to which it must be used. It is not advisable to use the voting mana below 80%. With that said, we are also aware that many content creators are writing daily and for that reason, we can't vote on all the content on the same day due to the voting mana.

Just like the present curator, after voting on some selected articles and if the voting mana goes down, he lives the rest till another day so that when the voting mana recovers he can give the votes. It is always good to vote on the article when the voting power is recharged because that adds more value to the content creator. Not all articles will receive votes though because the saying votes are not guaranteed is true and will always work since we work with the voting mana.

Operating the steemcurator account is not an easy task. I'm a living testimony to that regard as I have worked as a curator using the other steem curator's account. Since the job is hectic and time-demanding, it is going to be more effective if seven people are selected to be working with the account.

If 7 persons are selected to handle the work, I guess the workload will not be much on them as they only have a day to work. This way the curator can take more time to go through different content and even drop valid comments since he or she is doing that just once a week.

I will not disclose my identity. The best way is to remain anonymous because sentiment will come in once your identity is reviewed. The way the present big curators are right now I.e SC01 and 02, we address them as both sir/ma because we don't even know if they are male or female. This has made it even more beautiful because if we know them and they don't vote on our content we will tend to have issues with them based on that regard.

So to me let their identity remain hidden so that the platform doesn't get corrupted by people supporting only those they know and not supporting others. Today SC01 support across the platform in different communities no matter the country you come from or your religion or even if you are a black person or a white person.

Being steemcurator01 will not be a very easy task. I must say it is going to be a very big task because it is very time demanding. I was once a community curator and I saw how difficult this task is so I know exactly what it means to be steemcurator01. I want to appreciate the effort of the person (s) operating the account at the moment because it is not an easy task. I don't think I can effectively deliver as they are currently doing right now.
