The Dairy Game 04/12/22 || A busy but interesting Sunday.

Today is the first time in a long while I had a very busy yet Interesting Sunday. It was not the usual. I had a good time today I must say. Am sure you're curious and would love to know more...trust me, I will let you in on the full gist.

I woke up this morning around 6am, well I would say I woke up blank and lazy, apart from preparing to meet up with today's service, am not sure any other thing found it way into my mind. In no time I started preparing for service after saying few words of prayer.

I didn't have a proper devotion because I was already late as at the time I woke up. Service was to start by 8am on the dot but here am I still struggling to meet up. I got to church just few minutes to 8am and am glad I did.

The service todays was great right from the opening prayer to praise session to the sermon and then the close of the service. It was after a meeting (Youth Aflame) we had just at the close of the church service that I remembered the birthday of a colleague of mine which happens to be today.

I had to congratulate her and wished her well, another colleague of mine and I also took out time to take picture with her just to preserve the awesome moment. Am sure this made her day, as we didn't stop there, we also posted her on our status' wishing her well. This has a way of making people feel good on their special day.

Oh I think I forget to mention that our pastor reminded us during his announcement that we would be going for rally which is done yearly to create awareness for our annual SHILOH convention coming up on the 6th-11th Dec by 7am daily. Those from Living Faith can relate. The rally was to come up by 4pm. I think it's not bad to invite y'all...winks.

I got home around 12pm and decide to eat and rest for the rally that would later come up in the evening. And just as the usual saying....how time flies, before I blinked, it was already 4pm. I had to meet with my colleagues so we could go for the rally.

We had gotten a tricycle for this course, we had also set our sound to noise our activity abroad. We started out by going round the town to tell them about this great program.

We then proceeded to the interiors more like villages around to tell them the good news. We did get about 3 tricycle coupled with bikes and cars to ease mobility. It actually served as there were time we needed to hop in and move with haste and some other time, we journey on foot.

The languages we also used in reaching out to these people were different based on the location and people involved. We go to a location where we noticed was dominated by the Tivs, we got someone who helped pass the message in Tiv, we got to another location where the Junku's dominated, we had interpreters for this as well including Hausa.

The rally was indeed a success, it lasted for almost three hours, and as at the time it ended, it was already dark. We had to go and home gisting even though we were completely famished and tired. I got home, relaxed and went online to check the happenings there as usual.

I also attended to few messages I had missed and then prepared my dinner,potatoes, not porridge this time though, I just boiled and ate with oil. I was just too lazy and tired to prepare it the way I would have love to have it.
