My Diary Game For 3/12/2022: 3 Wonderful Events On The Same Day, See How I was Able To Meet Up With All

Hello dear diary, December is known to be a month of celebrations, parties and events and this is majorly because the weather is dry. Major events are scheduled to hold this month and just this past Saturday, I was able to attend 3 events that were dear to me. You may wonder how I managed to attend all 3 events, please keep reading

Event No. 1: Body Phyx 2 Years Anniversary/End Of The Year Party

Body Phyx is the place I workout which I already told you about. I never knew they had stayed upto 2 years already until the party was fixed. I was part of the planning committee for the party.

The party was held this particular day and it was in the morning by 6:30am. It was tittled Black And White Party.

We made the necessary preparations to ensure that it will go well. We made contributions towards the party and arranged for the cake, the food, the drinks and the vanue.

The event featured our normal fitness sections but with a difference because other coaches were invited to take turns and train us.
Then music, swimming and entertainment.

Refreshment/Entertainment

We prepared fried and jollof rice, meat and salad along with the drinks

The event lasted for 3 hours and I quickly left the vanue even though they were still having fun. I needed to leave to be able to meet up with my other engagements.

My husband was already calling me to remember our schedule of events for the day.

On getting home, I quickly got ready for the next event.

Even No. 2: The Traditional Marriage Of My Course mate and Friend, @citysilver45

This even took ace at Mbioto 11 still in my state of residence. It took us 1 hour to get the vanue.

On getting to the vanue, by 2pm, we were told that the couple were in the church in my city of residence for the blessing. I didn't know of this arrangement though they said it was just for the family members. They were delayed at the church that we had to spend more than 2 hours waiting for them to arrive. We couldn't wait again considering the distance and the 3dt event we had to grease that same day.

I simply sent him text message that we were leaving and told him the reason which he understood and appollogized for their lateness. He told me that it was due to the delays they had in the church. He sent me their video in the church.

Since it was a traditional marriage, the decorations were designed to suit the event. You can see traditional materials that are used for the decoration. This is a typical decoration as though it was done in a natural environment. It looks so sweet.

We quickly left the vanue to look for vehicle that will take us to the next event

Even No. 3: @goodybest's Elder Sister's Traditional Marriage

I was supposed to be fully involved in this event because goodybest had earlier invited me to even travel with them to assist them with cooking and the likes. But due to engagements, I couldn't. I told her and she understood.

She already gave me the material that will be used for the day which @madilyn02 used in sewing a big gown for me

We were able to get to the vanue but the event had started already. It took place at Mbierebe Akpawat but it was closer to a my city of residence than the Event No. 2.

There, we were first entertained with food. We were served white soup with fufu and later we were given Afang soup with fufu. We are them together. We came when the food was almost finished but we were still entertained. The event showcased a typical traditional marriage of the Akwaibom State.

First, the husband came out and danced. I didn't witness this fully.

Then the wife came out and danced with her entourage. Then she went to meet the husband.

They were then brought out and the husband was told to give the wife a bottle of wine which she will then take to the parents and showed him to them. After which, the parents blessed them.

Next, the husband took her to his own parents with wine and they also blessed them.

These things took time because there were other things that followed. But sorry,I had to leave. That was all that I saw there but I took pictures

It was really fun but we had to go home. I was very tired and needed to rest. It was also my turn to review engagement entries in steem kids and parents community. I appollogized to my fellow mods for not doing much since morning but I did review some considerable number of entries that evening despite being tired.

Conclusion

That was how my day went dear diary. You can see how I was able to attend the whole 3 events the same day.
