My Neighborhood Watch #129 - Reporting Event Around Us

Let me thank @xkool24 for giving me the platform to share a Christmas party event with the children that took place at my school, this week. It was a sparkling moment with the children, replete with fun. Sit back and enjoy reading.

The nursery/primary arm of my school, Kings' Seed Academy had organized a Christmas party for the pupils. It's the culture of our school to give the pupils a special treat during every Christmas before they go home after closing. This year's event featured father Christmas gifts to the children, quiz competition, dance and others. I was there as the co-Master of Ceremony to direct the pupils on what to do. Mr
Favor who was the main MC was very cooperative.

The D-Day came; that was on Tuesday, the 16th day of December, 2026. The children were dressed in their best dressing with a touch of red to symbolize the season of love. They were seated based on their classes. Although the nursery/primary branch of my school is not rich in population, the Caliber of the pupils raised there is incomparable within the area. Their intelligence is outstanding. The stage was set.

The event started by 10 am with a praise and worship and then an opening prayer by a teacher, teacher Mercy. The first activity was a singing competition by the classes led by their teachers. My child was not left out in Nursery One.

And then came the quiz competition. This was to test the intelligent quotient of the pupils. Major emphasis was laid on mathematics. Here, a child was expected to answer a mathematical question without five seconds. That was it. I was amazed that as little as these ones are, they could challenge even their rivals anywhere.

The climax of the event was the award for the winners. Prizes ranged from cash to physical gifts. It was a moment to behold. MmeyeneAbasi Udoh was the overall winner of the competition.

It was a memorable event that made the pupils and the parents happy. All the pictures were snapped by my friend, Mr. Radiant. I got it from him through WhatsApp group. He is a nice man.
