CLUB 75 | The Food Diary Game Season 9 : 23.05.22 - #learnwithsteem : Check out my secret Chili Paste which we serve to our guests everyday...Another easy to make recipe!
Hello beautiful foodie community of Steemfoods!
I hope you have all started the week in the best way possible and things are doing great for you all!
It is with great pleasure to write another page in my Food Diary Game and share another easy recipe in my support to the Steemit initiative of #learnwithsteem!
I already shared 2 recipes which you can find on the below links :
Pickled Spring Onions, Carrots and Garlic
And today I have the pleasure to show you how I make the famous chili paste that we serve in my restaurant to all guests who like their food to be spicy...
I made a new batch of chili paste earlier today and let's go to see how to make it...
Fresh Chili Paste - Home Made!!!
And we need a lot of chilies...more green ones than red!
Ingredients you will need :
- Fresh Chilies
- Lemon Confit
- Green Apple
- Garlic
- Starfruits
But first you will need to take out the small branch of each chili and wash all well...
Cut the ingredients in small pieces as you can see below...
But keep the chilies whole, no need to cut as we will blend it all in a paste!
Place them all in a food blender...
As mentioned above, it is very easy to make this chili paste...you only need some good quality ingredients!
Blend it all for 3 minutes on medium speed until you have like a puree consistency!
No need to add water in as the different fruits will give out enough water for the chilies to blend well!
The color will change...
When you will add the green ones, the color will change completely!
Season with some salt, lemon juice and oil...and it's ready!
The photo below gives you an idea of how fine I crushed the chilies!
You can store this chili paste for more than 15 days in the chiller at 3-5 degrees Celcius in an airtight container!
Here we are friends, another easy to make recipe which many of us like having on the table to accompany our meals...
In case you don't have the fruits above, you can always substitute with other fruits with the same acidic taste : Like pineapple or even green mangoes...
Thanks so much for reading and hope you enjoyed the post while learning a recipe you can try at home!
Best Regards!
