Model Kit Review, 1/72 scale Cant Z 501 Italian Flying Boat

For this post, I would like to show you another model kit review that I just uploaded to my youtube channel. This is a review of a 1/72 scale model kit of a Cant Z 501 Italian flying boat. This is a late 1970s vintage "white box" kit produced by the Italian model kit maker Italaerei. This kit maker later changed it's name to Italeri and still produces model kits.

The Cant Z 501 flying boat was first flown in 1934. The airplane was used by the Italian military for search and rescue missions and anti-submarine patrol service before and during WW2, although by 1940, the airplane was considered to be obsolete. Many of these airplanes were lost during WW2, but a few stayed in service until 1949.
