Old Soul With a New Way

The world recognises old habits in me, but it does not know how much has changed. I carry lessons from distant years while walking toward unfamiliar horizons. There is history in my silence and curiosity in my steps. What I have kept is wisdom, not the weight of the past.

I listen to traditions without becoming confined by them.
The voices that shaped me remain, but they no longer decide my direction.
Respect and reinvention sit together without conflict.
I have learned that growth does not require abandoning where you came from.

There is comfort in what endures and excitement in what evolves.
I move between both without needing to choose a side.
The old gives me roots when uncertainty appears.
The new gives me room to become more than I was.

People see contradictions where I see balance.
I honour what was while creating what could be.
My spirit remembers distant roads but refuses to stand still.
An old soul can still discover a new way forward.
