Further updates on my brother's condition of kidney failure
Hello Steemians,
How are you guys doing today? I hope every things are moving fine with you guys? If that is so, then we give glory to the most high God for his guidance and protection over our lives today, we pray that all glory and adorations be ascribed to his his holy name.
My brother and I hails from otukpo local government area of Benue state nigeria, but currently living at kabayi in mararaba of karu local government of area of nassarawa state Nigeria, mararaba Is not far from the federal capital territory .

My brother and I are living in one bedroom flat rented apartment, he is married and has two children.
THE STATE OF HIS CONDITION NOW
My brother Samuel Ameh has been in this pain and agony of kidney failure since November 2022, we have move him from one hospital to another, but they all confirmed that his both kidneys has failed. He has sold his house and we the family members have tried our best but the situation still remain the same.
Right now all my family members and relations have been distablized financially and emotionally because we have sold many things for us to resolve this situation but all has been spent on dialysis and medications which is not the solution but just to keep his life on.
He undergoes dialysis twice in a week and he also takes injections together with every dialysis he undergoes, the injection make his body system to produce blood since the kidney that is responsible for blood generation is no longer functioning, So he spends over #40,000 each day he goes for dialysis because the dialysis now is 32,000 while the injection is #6,000
Infact my brother is really helpless right now because he is still undergoing the dialysis up till today.

HIS MEDICATIONS AND COSTS:
He takes:
Furosemide 40mg #10,000 Zenopril-10 Lisinopril tab # 5000. Nifedipine 20mg # 2000.
Vasoprin acid, 75mg # 1500. Boioprolol fumarate 5mg #7000.
Aforuxime -500 mg tablets . Meditro calcitriol BP ,0.25 micrograms.
There are many other medications that he takes I just can't mention them all..
HIS DIETS:
My brother can't take all kinds of food, he has advised by doctors not to eat beans, red meat, strong fufu, stew with too much groundnut oil
etc. while he has been advised to eat rice, leaves, smooked fish, carrot, carbage, onions, solft semo, and more lots of fruits.
Below is the bill for dialysis:
I am appealing to all Steemians for assistance for the transplant of the kidney for him to live. The doctor has advised for transplant and the cost is #23,000,000 which is over 60k steems.
This is very hard for us as family. Please he needs your assistance for him to be live.

I had the assurance of going home that yesterday but my releaver in the work place did show up that was why, it is really paining me as I haven't done the update to because I have to take the selfish picture with him, if he comes today I will go to down to my brother and do it. So sorry for that sir. I pray he don't disappoint me today again.

May I ask if the cost of the transplant includes the donated organ? In our country, for example, available organs are very scarce. Therefore, living donations from relatives are often used for kidney patients...
Thank you very much sir, the cost of the transplant does not include the donated organ, but if the money is realize then we the family members can make that sacrifice.
That's intense. I have no idea how much such a transplant would cost here in Europe, because we have health insurance that will cover it. The amounts are probably similar or even higher. Being left alone with this as a sick person is terrible.
